Sweet 2.5 year old Male Cockapoo for adoption in Auburn, Washington For Sale

Hugo is an adorable, sweet and loving boy with lots of personality. He is neutered, up to date on shots and very healthy. Because he is half poodle, he doesn't shed - that means he needs to be groomed every 3 or 4 months. I like his hair shaggy, so I tend to let it stay long. A lot of poodle crosses are hypoallergenic - I can neither confirm nor deny this trait in Hugo. I don't know anyone allergic to dogs to test him out on.
Hugo is very sweet with kids, loves to play tug of war & fetch, and will walk away if he's being bugged instead of lashing out. We often visit my parent's little farm, and he does very well with the chickens, goats and sheep, though if he's feeling mischievous he will chase them for a bit. But he would never hurt them. He has never attacked or lashed out at any human or animal.
Although he is an adult, he still has quite a bit of energy and needs at least one good walk a day. He hasn't been destructive since his puppy years, but becomes annoyingly energetic if he isn't sufficiently tired out.
Honestly, his only fault is that he gets really excited when people come to visit and barks a lot. I've been trying to work with him on this, but when you aren't anticipating a knock at the door, it's hard to prevent the onslaught of crazy.
There is no negative reason on Hugo's part that I am re-homing him. I am moving out of state for school and work. As much as I love and adore my boy, it is not fair for him to be cooped up inside from dawn til dusk.That being said, I will be incredibly picky in choosing his new family. My hope is that he will find a home with kids or another dog (or both!), but that's not a requirement. I just want someone in a stable living situation who can love him just as much as I do!
